Canaries are members of the Finch family and originate from the Canary Islands where they get their name. They have been popular pets since the 1600s for both their song and plumage.

Zebra Finches are native to Australia though have been introduced into the wild as far as the USA. They are popular pets for their elaborate patterns and songs.

Budgies have been bred in capticity since the 1850s. There are now many colour variations available including Blues, Greens, and Yellows. Budgies are one of the 5 Top Speakers in the parrot family and can memerise anything between a dozen to a hundred words! They are easily tamed and another very popular pet. Love Birds are fun little guys! Though small they have all the intelligence and playfulness of larger parrots. As their name suggests they are very affectionate to other Love Birds and even their owners if tamed.
