Asian Painted Bull Frog - Kaloula pulchra

The Asian Painted Bull Frog is also known as the Chubby Frog or the Banded Bull Frog. It has an appearance of a small mouth and round body and can grow to about 3 inches in diametre.

This frog is native of South East Asia, and usually lives on the forest floor, in rice fields, and even in populated villages.

It has an ability to expand itself when threatened, and to secrete a glue-like substance from its body as a defense mechanism.
