Crested Gecko - Rhacodactylus ciliatus

The Crested Gecko is quickly becoming one of the most popular geckos in the pet trade. They have a friendly and docile temperament and grow to an easily handlable size ( about 9 - 10 inches ). however they can jump and care should be taken to avoid them getting injured.

As the name suggests, they have 2 crests running above their eyes going down their backs. The crests above the eyes are often compared to eye-lashes. There are now many colour morphs available including the "Flame", "Harequin", and "Ruby".
