Florida Kingsnake - Lampropeltis getula floridana

Florida Kingsnakes are native to Southern USA and are called Kings because they are immune to Rattle Snake bites and can overcome and kill a Rattle Snake making them the "King" of snakes in their region. They have a large range of colour variation both in the wild and in captivity.

They grow to about 4 feet and are generally docile in nature and one of the most popular snakes kept in captivity. In our experience the Floridas are particularly varocious and will eat eagerly and will immeadiately investigate any "suspicious" noises in their vivarium ( like when you change the water! ) in search of food.
