Repti Glo 2.0 Fluorescent UV Bulb

Repti Glo 5.0 Fluorescent UV Bulb

This bulb has a moderate to high UVB output as seen in shady environments like rainforests. Reptiles living in these habitats receive less UV radiation because of the many elements that prevent direct sunlight from striking animals and their basking sites. The humidity in these locations is fairly high which filters out some of the UV rays. Weather conditions vary during the day, so there is less sunshine.

A bulb associated with desert environments and thus with a very high UV-output. Desert locations receive more direct sunlight than any other because of fewer clouds, less air humidity and no plants or trees to provide shade. Desert animals are more exposed to UV than other reptiles.
